BUILD TO BILL / PRODUCT INFORMATION

Privacy, plainly.

The website

Build to Bill is hosted on Cloudflare. The hosting provider processes requests and technical information needed to serve and protect the website. We have not added advertising trackers or a marketing mailing list.

The free lesson's business-name fields only create text in your browser. They are not sent to an AI service by this website. Its checklist is saved in this browser's local storage; use “Reset my checklist” to clear the marks. The fictional Rinse inquiry form currently runs in local practice mode: it sends no inquiry to us or to a detailing business. Use fictional information.

When you contact us

Email sent to buildtobill@proton.me is processed through Proton Mail and used to respond to your request. Include only information needed for support, and never send passwords, API secrets or full card details.

The client website check saves your answers in this browser's local storage. It does not scan, upload or send your website or answers to us. Its reset control clears those saved answers.

Free-resource usage counts

On the free lesson and client website check, we count page openings and a few actions: requesting the build prompt, starting a review and requesting an action plan. The request contains only the action name, a broad campaign label when present and a public-or-test label. Our application saves daily totals, not individual visitor records, answers, entered text, email addresses, IP addresses or visitor IDs. Our hosting provider still processes the technical information needed to handle the request.

Temporary browser storage reduces repeat counts from the same tab for 30 minutes; this is not a reliable count of unique people. Counts can be incomplete or include automation. You can turn counts off at the bottom of either free resource. That preference stays in this browser. We also skip counts when the browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, or when browser storage is unavailable. No advertising service receives these counts.

The beginner pilot

The pilot page opens an email draft for you to review and send. It can include a broad link tag such as “Free lesson” or a campaign name; this is not a unique visitor identifier or proof of where you came from. If you email us, we use your replies to assess pilot fit, arrange access and improve the instructions. No marketing subscription is added, and we will ask separately before publishing identifying feedback or a testimonial. You can stop participating or ask us to delete your pilot feedback.

Payments and account access

Paid checkout is currently closed. When enabled, Stripe will process payments and payment details on its checkout page. Build to Bill will use payment status and order references to deliver access and handle refunds. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Email-link access uses Resend to send sign-in links. The email flow stores your email and purchase references to recover your files, uses essential sign-in cookies, and does not subscribe you to marketing. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes; browser sessions expire after 14 days or when you sign out. Short-lived request limits use hashed addresses to help prevent abuse.

Your information

We use information for website operation, delivering purchases, support and recordkeeping. We do not sell personal information. Email the support address for questions or to request access, correction or deletion of information held by Build to Bill. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal or accounting obligations.
